Dry Creek Student Ministry

The Dry Creek Baptist Student Ministry exists to bring glory to God by molding our students into the image of Christ and establishing in them a foundation to make disciples of all peoples of the world. We seek to accomplish this purpose with the understanding that the discipleship process begins in the home and is to be complemented by the Church. Our distinctives are:

Family Integrated Ministry (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) We believe God hasn’t called youth workers to raise godly children; He has called parents to. Therefore, our youth ministry exists to encourage, reinforce, and facilitate this reality.
Biblical Teaching (2 Timothy 4:2) We believe that for true discipleship to take place, our students need to sit under expositional teaching of the scriptures as often as possible.
Mentoring (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:2) We believe this is both heart of the Great Commission and was Jesus’ pattern of ministry while He was upon the earth. Adults in our church, along with some of our spiritually mature students are involved in mentoring our teenagers either one-on-one or in a small group setting in order to accomplish the following goals in their life: a. An Established Relationship with God b. Established Fellowship with Other Believers c. Participation in some level of Ministry
Missions (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8) We believe THE mission of the church is to make disciples of all peoples in all places. God made His only Son a missionary, so missions is very dear to the Heart of God. Our youth ministry seeks to reflect God’s Heart in our activity, being “missional” both locally and globally.
