dry creek children’s ministry

The Children’s Ministry at Dry Creek Baptist Church exists to bring glory to God by being a supplement, but not a substitute, to the home in diligently teaching children the scriptures (Deuteronomy 6:4-9) and training children up in the way that they should go (Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4).  Our children’s ministry is to be a supplement and not a substitute because we believe that that scriptures teach that the primary responsibility to disciple children lies with the parents in the home.  However we do also believe it is a responsibility of the church to disciple children as well as people of all ages, so our desire is to work with the home and be a supplement and compliment to the home in the spiritual development of children. 


Children hold a special place in Jesus’ heart. Jesus repeatedly pointed to children in His ministry as models of kingdom values and attitudes.
